Debate #2

OK, quick take on debate #2 - complete Bush domination. Bush was more comfortable, engaging, and significantly more aggressive than the first debate. Won on points and on style. He missed the chance to really hammer Kerry home a few times - there were far too many wide openings he let slide by. Overall though, I don't see how this could possibly be spun as a Bush loss...most pundits are trying to declare a "draw" in order to downplay the dominance...but again, it's that 15 point tailwind the media wants to give Kerry (not to mention that ABC memo that came to light today). Biggest wins for Bush - stem cells and abortion. Could have been stronger on stem cells, 100% right on abortion. Thank goodness someone out there sees stuff as black and white as it really is. Should see a boost...probably not enough to completely bury Kerry, but hopefully enough to give him enough of a cushion through the third debate.
